A Kizomba festival brings dancers together for several days of workshops and social events. The schedule may include daytime socials, evening parties, competitions and activities outside the venue. Each event has its own balance of dance styles and teaching, so compare the programme as well as the location.
Learn during the day
Workshops give you time to explore technique and musicality with different teachers. Pick sessions that match your experience and leave time to practise. A private lesson offers more focused attention on a specific question; check whether it is included in your pass or booked separately.
Meet people on the dance floor
Social dancing is a chance to practise, hear different music and meet dancers beyond your usual classes. Ask before dancing, respect a refusal and keep the connection comfortable. You can enjoy a party without dancing every track.
Comparing Kizomba festivals around the world
When comparing international Kizomba events, check the dates, instructor and DJ information, dance styles, workshop levels and party schedule. Then compare the total trip cost: the pass, travel, accommodation, meals and any activities you want to add.
Also check arrival and departure times. An inexpensive flight can mean missing a pre-party or the last excursion. Leave space for meals and rest between workshops and late nights.
The Dubai Kizomba Fusion experience
The seventh edition takes place from 14–18 January 2027 in Dubai. The main festival runs Friday to Sunday, with workshops, pool parties and night parties. Thursday’s city tour and pre-party, Friday’s boat party and Monday’s desert safari extend the trip beyond the main weekend.
A Party Pass is €110; a Full Pass with workshops is €130. The €295 Gold Pass includes the Full Pass, Thursday pre-party and all three excursions. At the rates checked on 6 October 2026, the same items cost €318 separately: a saving of €23 per person.
